Hello there! My name is Minelle Lowin.
Designer/maker with a bachelor’s degree with honors in product design from the University of Edinburgh.

Self Portrait Triptych 2019
I love to work with my hands to create, it is why I chose to be a maker. I enjoy getting my hands dirty, spending hours making, problem solving, and re-making. Most would find it tedious, but it's what I love.
I am a 23 year old Swiss and American dual citizen. I love films, theater, crafts, humor, cooking, skiing, dogs, DnD, puzzles, games and much more. I bring enthusiasm and passion to my workplace, collaborating positively with my peers, professors and as an individual. I have an organized, dedicated, and hard working mindset that can actively learn and contribute to a wide range of disciplines. I’m eager to develop new aspects of my creative journey.
After completing my degree in Product Design I searched for a path forward. As a maker, my skills are applicable to many different areas. I have considered various careers and industries to find a path which truly ignites my passions and aligns with my skill set and values. Through self driven projects, short courses, and education, I strive to find an opportunity to put my skills to work.
Oh, and I nearly forgot to mention my good sense of humor and playfulness which will further my lifetime goal of being a chartered accountant.
I'm currently employed at the International School of Lausanne. My primary role is as the set & prop designer and maker for their theatre department. I also work helping out in the design department.
