As part of my work at the International School of Lausanne I have been building sets and props for the theatre departments performances. This work is self driven, designed and made as an individual through collaboration with the director of the production, the auditorium staff and the students themselves.
The Government Inspector
This performance relied largely on set and less on props. It was designed to look quite gaudy. The theme was very comedic and a mismatched/ugly set was made to fit the setting of a corrupt and egotistical mayoral house in a small provincial village in Russia.
The Performance:
The Hobbit
This is my current project and it is still a work in progress.

This performance required a set that could be used across many different locations and provide different levels of staging. It was designed to fit with a series of projections that show where the different scenes are all while fitting into the set design. The props for this production are more influential and higher in count given the variety of scene locations and interactions throughout the performance.
